 I am not slaming it. I am just pointing out features which could be
improved/added or removed.  I am sure people would agree with me that
there should be an option to init the modem right in ppp.sys or
something (Im sure you could run tip in your crontab to do this).
Also, for the price of BSDI, they should add a "log exporter" to dump
'last' or wtmp into a evenly columed file for inport into database
programs. These are just suggestions, and I am not bashing BSDI in any
way. I use it, I even PICKED it to be used and I wouldnt have done
that if I didnt like the over all design..

 Sorry if it sounded like I was bashing it in my original post as I
was not.
