Hello,

I'm checking out my problem with in-addr.arpa resolution with
the classless trick. Since I've been told to upgrade to BIND 4.9.3,
I'm trying to upgrade the resolver. It seems that /usr/lib/libresolv.a
isn't used when compiling the TCP wrappers which are the immediate
reason for upgrading. It looks like the functions are in libc.a .

To upgrade them, I tried, from the res/ directory of the bind
distribution:

  ar -r /usr/lib/libc.a *.o

Then, I tried recompiling tcpd, but it still leads to the same
effects --- the reverse lookup fails and only the IP address is
recognized.

Any clues on how to pull this off?
Thanks!
