Does anyone know how to check the status of a modem?
I have the problem that sometimes the modem's TR (terminal ready)
stays off after somebody connected to it, and you have to turn the
modem off and then on to reset the TR. Is there any way to do this
(reset the modem) via software.
You can send an ATZ command with the tip program, but the problem is
that the getty process don't let you do that.
I'll apreciate any help about this.
