I am running XFree86 1.1 on 386BSD with the patch-kit installed.
Everything is working great, except I can only bring up 4 xterms,
and when I try to start the 5th, I get the message:

	 "xterm: no available ptys"

This happens consistently, and there are definitely more than 4
pty's defined in my /dev directory. Has anyone else see this? Am
I missing something obvious here?

(BTW: My kernel is configured for 10 users, but I don't believe
this has anything to do with the number of pty's you can create
for a single user anyway.)
