Bah! I hate .htm file extensions, it really offends my sense of aesthetics.
Why not write a shell script that makes them into proper .html files
instead?

OK, I know I am being OTT here but the .htm extension only serves to
reinforce the Microsoft brain damage that is all prevalent these days.

I know, I know...
