During the last 3 months I installed FreeBSD on 5 machines -
all equiped with ATI Mach64 cards (xpression, winturbo). Only
on ONE machine the XFree 3.11 (or 3.12) X Server was running
properly. And: I had 5 ATI card with 3 different RAMDAC chips.

However, as I'm a ATI-fan I tried out the XInside Server. Result:
this server runs on all of the ATI cards. OK, I had to pay for it
(NOT FREE) but I feel that the server is worth the money.
