Hello all,

I try to run sendmail at a very small equipment, "only" two
FreeBSD boxes (2.1R and 960501 SNAP). So don't want to run DNS.
Unfortunately they can't deliver mail, if I try "sendmail -v
user@foo.com </etc/hosts"

I got an error like "foo.com not found", although I could reach
foo.com with ping, cause foo.com appear at /etc/hosts.

Yes - I disabled bind at /etc/host.conf! ;)

Thanks in advice
Dirk
