Summary: ed0 timeout--Help!
Keywords: ed0 timeout question network

I keep getting timeouts on ed0.

I am trying to connect two bsd systems. One has 2 ne2000 cards
one has a 3com card. The system with the 2 ne2000 cards is w
working as a gatewayt.

I have been trying to get these two systems to communicate without
any luck.

If I configure the 3com card to have the same address as one of
the ne2000 cards the gateway complains. So I at least know
some traffic is going over the net.

Please, does anybody have any idea what I am missing?

What files to I have to change anyway to setup a network.

So far I have changed /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig

Please, I really need help with this one.
