Not really. I've an 386 Box, running FreeBSD since Aug.94 with heavy load 24
hours a day. I had one crash in Nov. 95, but without any data loss.

I've a Linux box also, with no load at all but X-Windows. It runs between 6
and 12 hours a day for nearly 16 Month without any faults.

For server applications, I prefer FreeBSD but I can't explain why.

Liebe Gruesse, Nora.
