Does anyone know of a reason why a directory might vanish into
thin air ? I had a directory under my /usr filesystem with a
bunch of packages that I ftp'ed. After installing some packages
(and aborting one package installation midstream, which may
have had something to do with it) I suddenly found I could
no longer cd to the directory or find it in any way I know of.

That I find rather weird.

Rohan.
