Ok I tried the software jumpers on the d-link card, it was a no go and 
there isn't any hardware jumper settings on it for irq setting. As for 
the Intel pro 10, well on the latest snap, the boot recognizes it as a 
pci??? (screen goes by too fast :) on interupt 11 as an ethernet card and 
says no driver loaded. I disabled everything else, except the probing for 
the card and the floppy controllers, and it still wouldn't load the 
driver. Will the ix driver work on the pro 10? I have a pro 100, had some 
problems at first, but the march snap worked lickedly split. Grasping at 
straws here :), the network set up here at school isn't the friendliest 
atmosphere :).
