Hello,
while trying to install some MPI lib, I get some problems with
gethostbyname

> getifaddr: interface name lp0, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name lo0, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name lo0, AF_INET, UP, addr 16777343
> getifaddr: interface name ppp0, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name ppp1, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name sl0, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name sl1, not AF_INET
> getifaddr: interface name tun0, not AF_INET
> lamnet_findorig: getifaddr found 1 interfaces
> lamnet_findorig: checking host 0, addr 33554442
                                         ^^^^^^^^
This number is no internet inteface in my system (see all lines above).
Nick Nevin suggested that this should read the internet address of lo0.
He also thought that this might be due to a "static slip connection"
(???)

What did I do wrong?

Regards,
	Axel.
