Supposedly, it is possible to run 2.x bsdi binaries once you upgrade to
2.1-stable.  I tried to upgrade a few days ago (using SUP) and damn near 
blew out my entire 2.1.0-RELEASE installation (probably more a case of me 
not reading the man pages thoroughly enough...it took a heck of a long 
time too ;-)
