There's another caveat: since FIPS cannot reduce the cluster size of
the reduced DOS partition, the existing FAT file system will continue
to waste too much disk space by using an unnecessary large cluster
size.  (Remember that a 2 GB FAT file system uses 64 KB per cluster.
This likely results in some 30 % of wasted space.)
