Hi!
I'm new to this list and our provider only give me this newsgroup.
If I posted wrong group, please don't be upset.

I want to install freebsd-2.1.0 or above into my laptop. And my
system is Compaq contura410 and Adaptec's PCMCIA SCSI(SlimSCSI)
and Panasonic Portable PD. Currently I use Linux and I have a dynamic
PPP connection to the Internet, so I will download whole thing into
my PD. So does the freebsd support my PCMCIA SCSI card on installing
disk? I mean is it possible to install the freebsd with my PCMCIA
SCSI card and PD or not. I heard the freebsd didn't support hot-insert
PCMCIA card and PCMCIA on installing disk.( booting disk )
Is it right?

Any help is much appreciated by e-mail.
Thanks.
