3D studio (Dos) can, by its plugin flexibility acheive the quality of
programs like Strata.  For a working example look out for Dorlingly
Kindersley's forthcoming Dinosaur CD-Rom.  Some of you may have seen
Cat and Bird which were produced on the Mac - Dinosaur is 100% 3d
studio.  I've seen a preveiw and it looks amazing.  In many ways it
looks better than myst - which it looks a bit like.

As for 3d studio Max - well I use my Mac a lot, but not for 3d (well
maybe KPT bryce).
