Yep, http://www.freebsd.org is the official FreeBSD Website. If you
follow the 'Documentation' link, you'll get both the FAQ and the
Handbook.

There are a few others around; for example,

has searchable archives for this newsgroup and the FreeBSD mailing
lists (among other things).
