You can't change the port address of an EISA board. It's hardwired to
0x1000 * <slot number>.

Unfortunately the 'visual' config option doesn't allow port addresses
greater than 0x1000. You have to use the non-visual mode of the
userconfig tool. 

Or build a custom kernel _after_ installation, of course. If you depend
on the 3c579 for installation, use the method above.
