Hi,

Has anyone had any experience of adding new modes (using the ModeLine
statement) in /etc/XF86Config?

I am running FreeBSD2.1 and have an ATI Mach 64 card. I am trying to
add a new mode to my machine, so that I can run at 1152x864 in 24bit
mode. As far as I can tell the hardware should support this.
I have tried adding entries such as:

	Modeline "1152x864" 135 1152 1280 1328 1512 864 1024 1025 1028

but it causes my console and keyboard to crash when I try it.

Any help or pointer to help?

Thanks,

Gary
