Hi,

I run FreeBSD 2.1, and am running my X server in 16bit mode.
I am running a java app on a remote machine, and it seems to
require that my X display be 24 bit. Is there a simple
solution to this? (ie can I make my server "emulate" 24 bit mode,
or can java be configured not to require 24 bits?)

Any help much appreciated.

Gary
