/dev/bpf0 is not configured in the default kernel, for obivious security 
reasons.

However if you have the kernel sources installed...
cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf

look in to LINT file for:
pseudo-device	bpfilter	4	#Berkeley packet filter

BTW this is from 2.1.0R

and add this line to your kernel config file.

How do I recompile my own kernel"
