Oh please forward any answer you get to me. I have been desperately trying
to get an 8 port card to work for the past week with following kernel config

device cy0 at isa? tty irq 15 iomem 0xd4c00 iosiz 0x2000 vector cyintr

The card is detected ok as seen is dmesg output but vmstat -i does not
report a registered interrupt for the card.

: options	COM_MULTIPORT
Not from looking at the source but I could be wrong

: Also the default MAKEDEV doesn't have settings for the cyclades devices.
: Any ideas?

I used following to make the cuac0-7 and ttyc0-7 ports.

	#!/bin/sh
	for port in 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7; do
		sh MAKEDEV cuac$port ttyc$port
	done

My problem seem s to be that I am not seeing anygthing in the vmstat -i
output.

I would be very interested in seeing the kernel config, dmgesg and vmstat -i
output of a working Cyclom 8 card setup. (actually any cyclom card setup
will do, I'm desperate ;-) )

Greetings
Christian
