Hello all,

I am running FreeBSD 2.1 Release, and have an
HP Deskjet 540 which I am attempting to connect and use.
In my preliminary setups,

cat > /dev/lpt0
lptest 20 5 > /dev/lpt0

each do not produce any output.

The kernel is configured correctly to recognize
lpt0 correctly as an interrupt-driven device. I have
attempted to switch it to polled mode and back to interrupt
mode with lptcontrol, but this also does not seem to have
any effect.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
