I've done all this, and now, FROM MY FreeBSD ACCOUNT, I can send to anywhere.. HOWEVER, on my macs I'm running POP mail client software (StarNine), I can receive all the mail, and magically enough, I can reply to some of the helpful people out there, HOWEVER, I can not INITIATE mail going out to a different host (netcom, compuserve, etc.) POP *immediately* comes back and says host unknown.. Now, I have to say that before I had the macs hooked up to FreeBSD, I had them hooked up to a NeXT cube, running POP & uucp, so I know the Mac setup is good.. Is there a POP config file somewhere that needs tweaking, or is this still a sendmail issue??? I'm almost there.
