I have been having some trouble with named on Freebsd 2.1.
After starting named, nslookup querys look good, but services
such as telnet take quite some time to offer a prompt. Killing
named resolves the problem.

On another note, has anyone ported bind4.9.3 (Dec 1995, BETA33)
to Freebsd 2.1 ?

Any pointers would be quite appreciated.

Thanks,

David
