I've tried various things, booting from floppy, changing root device to sd0, mount -u / so it's writable. Then running disksetup -B sd0, which always seems to exit without complaing, but doesn't seem to help. BSD/OS is the only os on the HD, and I read something in the release notes that sometimes a BSD only install, on adaptec adapters won't boot `cause it expects to find a BSD partition in the fdisk table -and contact tech support. My vendor has tried their best, but I'm still stuck. From where I'm sitting it seems I'm just missing an MBR to kickstart everything, but if someone would explain to me like I'm a four-year-old how to install it, or an fdisk table, it would be great. (I've been playing around with disksetup and bootany to no avail) I guess one important note, is i've tried re-installing a couple times, but after it loads everything, it seems to hang before that magical part where it asks you about boot options. So I just need to know what was _supposed_ to happen there.
