I've just finished setting up X under FreeBSD 2.1 last night. Everything
seems to work fairly well, except that after a short while (between 15 and
30 minutes) running X, my keyboard crashes. This takes the form of either
my CTRL or META key locking on or the whole keyboard simply not accepting
any keypresses. If I logout of my window manager my keyboard seems to reset
but after logging in again it isn't long before the whole system crashes.
Similarly, if I just let the system sit after the keyboard crahes, it doesn't
take long before the whole system goes down.

I'm running a very stock version of xdm from my rc.local file (I haven't done
any configuration of xdm from the basic install) and ctwm as my window
manager. The system is a 486DX2/50 w/8Mb of RAM.

Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this? I couldn't think of any more
relevant info to include in this report, so if you've got any questions about
how my system is set up, please Email me or follow up to the newsgroup.

Matt
