I just installed a Fujitsu 230MB magneto-optical drive
on my FreeBSD 2.1R system. At boot time, this is how
it is (un)recognized:

Apr 27 17:36:37 freebsd /kernel: (ncr0:3:0): "FUJITSU M2512A 1304"
type 7 removable SCSI 2
Apr 27 17:36:37 freebsd /kernel: uk0(ncr0:3:0): Unknown

Apparently because of the limited functionality of the uk
device, I cannot use disklabel or anything else on this
drive. Yet I know others have gotten MO drives working.
What's the secret? I was expecting it to come up as sd1,
which I know how to deal with...

Any help appreciated.
