I never linked "make config" either. =)  That is what I'm glad that we now
have make menuconfig with a nice pretty/easy-to-use dialog configuration
program.

BTW, we run a web server of Linux (1.3.62 if I remember) with Apache 1.0.5
and pre-forking works perfectly, and for the size of our machine (386dx-33)
it supposts 400 to 500 hits a day nicely (I know it's low usage since it's
a first test site that we are using before we can get our main provider
system on-line with a P5-90 =)  and I'm sure it can take more since we don't
even push the Load avg above .20 on a good day.=)

1.3.9x is better under load...I would say it compares a lot nicer to FreeBSD
2.1.
