1)   http://www.cdrom.com currently in 2.1 release i think

2)  yes, i'm not sure if it ships with a boot loader or not (i'm a
liux guy and use lilo)-- probably does. also you might want to
investigae "commander" but don't pay the $100 retail price.
street price is $65-- works well if you need multiple os's
