From Solaris 2.x onward, SUN is SVR4 certified UNIX. Though SUN still
provide /usr/ucb for UCB's BSD compatibility. The files in /usr/ucb
are mainly static link to SUN's own /sbin and /bin plus wrappers.

Yes, Linux is POSIX compatible.
