Axel,

Use "apropos cmos" to find the man pages for the 
cmos clock. 

Basically, if a zero length file with the correct name
is in /etc, BSD will use the value in the cmos as the local
time of day. 


Sorry... I'm not booted to BSD at the moment or I'd provide
the correct name for that file... and in the state I'm in
I Don't Trust my core memory to have the proper info stored
in it's little beads.
