hi there,

we are in comp.unix.freebsd, so let's concentrate more on the OS
and leave alone "Why FreeBSD is not using ZZZ?" kind of question.

there are x86PC vs ppcMac, BSD vs Linux, ELF on BSD debates. and
i'm to skip all those "XXX vs YYY" message because they are not
constructive enough to solve the problem of OS choice.

choice of OS parallel religious believe: if you like it, take it!
if someone is to say "My choice is better others", do let him/her
alone and spend our time porting/developing systems that'll be useful
to the public.

spending time in writing this utilise much bandwidth in hope that
subtantiate savings may be achieved by
