Summary: Can't get there from here...

OK, I'm about ready to give up. I've got an old Mac SE/30 running
NetBSD/Mac1.1 and I've been trying to get a ppp link to my Sparc10
going using the Solaris2.5 ppp package (through port A). I've tried
different cables, goofing with parity/handshaking and other things and
it still doesn't seem to work. A look at the logs shows the mac timing
out waiting for replies from the Sun (none show up). The Sun's logs
show both incoming (the same one over & over) & outgoing config
requests. It's as if the mac isn't seeing any input from the Sun
(although tip works just dandy). Argh! Does anyone have any clues!
Oooh, I feel like I must be overlooking something real basic.

TIA!
