Hello!

I'm no hardcore Unix hacker and thus ran into a bit of problems.

I try to port software we develop on several architectures (SunOS,
Solaris, HP/UX) to FreeBSD. Unfortunately a colleague of mine relies
heavily on "termio" to control a external camera (V.24) and to read
single keystrokes.

Now i realized, that there's no "termio" support in FreeBSD. All I
noticed is a "termios.h".

I tried to compile using termios, but it didn't work. How compatible is
termios to termio? Is a painless port possible? If I can't do it in -
say - 2 days I'll skip the port alltogether, so I need to know.

And a last question:

If there is no "termio" in FreeBSD, why is there a reference to it in
term.h? (sorry, I can't be more specific: My freeBSD box is at home).

Thanks,

-Walter
