Posix is far more than a kernel.  IMHO, the major work for Posix
compliance is always in userland.  (For example, Posix demands that
make(1) defaults the CC variable to c89 if .POSIX is set on top of the
Makefile.  Just to pick one oddity that quickly comes to mind.)
