prove it. show me last years prophits.... market shares... and stuff

I've seen a lot of insults both ways....

Macs all look alike, and act alike, they have personality, but are not
individuals, they are tools for people who probably never asked... "Buy, why
does it work?"
Expandability still rocks.. if you want a perfectly generic PC, there are no
problems.... if you want cutting edge 3D graphics boards, and daughter boards..
If you want symmetric Multiprocessing... If you want to be able to "Tweek" your
systems proformance to Hot rod potential, and not just make your own custom
background pattern... IF you want more than the 7 / 15 devices apple SCSI limits
you to, (just plunk in another SCSI controller)... EXPECT to learn a little
something about the internals of compuetrs!!!!!! Both Systems have flaws!!!!!!

A mac is too closed, cornered, simple, and generic for me... And they way
compuer sales are going (and have gone since computers existed) Most people
agree!
I gave em a chance.... I used them in school, I used them at home... They
frusterated me to the point of screaming.... then I was introduced to a 286...

Absolutley! Plain and simple the thing is as solid as a rock... it even got
dropped down 2 flights of stairs when we moved.... the case is battered, but
atleast it was made of metal, not... tinfoil and plastic...

Oh.. so he shouldn't have said "ALL new"... let me rephrase
ALL the new netsoftware people actually WANT is made for the PC (unix, linux,
win, blah) - it makes to to the mac when it makes it to the mac......
