I have found some very interesting documentation on the internet, that
could possibly help in setting up a X-Server for Matrox Video Cards.

VGADOC contains all the documentation and example programs to detect and
test video cards under DOS, including Matrox Video Cards.

ftp://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/doc-hard/vgadoc4b.zip

The Latest version can be found at VGADOC & WHATVGA Homepage:

 http://www.datashopper.dk/~finth/

NOTE: The following needs to be added to PCI.TXT, in the
Known Vendor/Device ID combinations:

 Vendor: Device: Card:
  102Bh 0518h Matrox ?
            0519h Matrox Millennium (ADD)

This was reported to me by the WHATVGA program contained in the
 VGADOC4B.Zip file.

Anyone interested in creating an X-Server for Matrox Video Cards.
