0. insert fixit.fs diskette and boot from same
0.5 run fsck on /dev/rfd0a
1. make floppy writeable
2. disklabel wd0 > /tmp/dlwd0
3. vi /tmp/dlwd0 and edit partition table
4. disklabel -R -r wd0 /tmp/dlwd0 /usr/mdec/wdboot /usr/mdec/bootwd
*** note: I may have reversed the order of the last two parameters. use
*** the 512-byte file first, then the longer one, in that order
5. sync
6. shutdown
7. remove diskette, hit key on prompt to boot from hd
8. run (DOS 5.0) fdisk /mbr if you encounter problems with 386bsd partition
   not recognized
9. good luck
