You read incorrectly elsewhere then..  FreeBSD has supported a large
subset of Linux a.out apps (well, you can't run `ps' and such, but then
did you expect to be able to? :-) for a long time, and ELF support
recently entered the fray in our 2.2 line.  We can run everything from
Linux DOOM and ABUSE to Linux version of Netscape with JAVA.  Not that
the latter is as useful as it used to be since Netscape has now released
netscape 3.0b2 ("Atlas") for BSDI which also works just great right out
of the box.
