Summary: Installing PNP ethernet
Keywords: Lance PCI PNP ethernet installation problem

Hello,

Can anybody help me with installation of ethernet card:

I have Intel Pentium motherboard (Zappa) with PCI PNP ethernet card. This card
is ADM's Lance NE2100 compatible ... do supported by FreeBSD (actually it is
my guess based upon FreeBSD FAQ). Anyhow I cannot chage ethernet card's IO
address - FreeBSD doen't allow 0xFF80 which I have. In the manual to my card
there is a record that "...you cannot change IO address for the PCI card...").
During boot process I saw "PCI ethernet detected no driver associated.." or
something like this... Is there any way to overcome trouble?(with current
hardware set, of course)
Thanks in advance
Sergey.
