The disk geometry that FreeBSD used to write the disklabel is not what
the BIOS think aboutr the geometry of the disk. Therefore, the BIOS
can't load anything from the disk, therefore, it can't start a boot
process.

You have to either:
- reinstall FreeBSD, this time using DOS to write a disklabel and edit
  *not replace* the Disklabel
- boot (ie. load the kernel) from another device (floppy, another
  harddisk, network)
- you might try whether another controller type solves the problem.
