I wrote a document to help people who work for NOAA's Forecast Systems
Lab to get connected with FreeBSD.  It might help out, if at least to
serve as an example.  

My example config files use fixed addresses.  If your ISP assigns
addresses dynamically out of a pool, I think you need to change the
`set ifaddr' line to

	set ifaddr 0 0
