I have dabbled with Linux for a few years, now, but have never tried
FreeBSD. I would like to use one or the other to build a data
acquisition system that must stay up for more than a year at a time.

With that in mind, could anyone how knows both systems comment on the
desirability of one over the other?

Thanks,
RG
