Depending on the CD-ROM drive you have, you might be able to get at
the audio sectors directly.  For example, the Matsushita CR-562 and
CR-563 drives allow you to read the 2532 byte sectors which include
everything.  Just use dd or even cp on /dev/[r]matcd0c to get the raw
sectors.  If you aren't cloning CDs, you will have to strip the
ECC data off to get just the audio PCM information.

Note that some (including SCSI) drives do not support reading Red
Book audio tracks.  A lot of Sony drives seem to be like this,
perhaps due to pressure from the music publishing side of Sony.
