I'm running a 486/66 Cyrix EISA system. With the last 'stable' FreeBSD
build. The system has been consistently and remarkably stable until I
config'ed ipfirewall into the kernel.

After that I can only run a few commands before total system lockup.

The lockups occur quickly even after booting with /kernel -s. Putting
a line in rc.local doing an accept of all packets doesn't help.

The docs are sparse...Any clues?

Thanks.
