Hi,

I'm seking advice for buying a low budget CD-ROM drive for FreeBSD. I'm
interested in advice on what to check before buying, recommended and not
recommended brands, etc. Specially, does anybody have experience with
the Acer Vuego (6x, ATAPI) drive. It's sold for NLG 190 (appr. $120) at
a local store. The next cheapest is a Philips (6x, ATAPI) for NLG 225
($140).

Andras
