Hello,

I have two AT machines (pentium 120, 32MB ram, 3G HDD) and FreeBSD
inside. I am trying to set up a LAN in my house. Ok, I tied many times
but I am not possible to connect the other host. Please help me.

Here some config files...( of a host named LISA, other host is named
AGNUS, but the config files are both the same but IP's)

 ==== /etc/sysconfig ====
hostname="lisa"
defaultdomainname=NO
tcp_extensions=YES
network_interfaces="de0 lo0"
ifconfig_de0="inet 192.168.1.2 -link2 netmask 255.255.255.0"
ifconfig_lo0="inet localhost"
static_routes="multicast loopback"
route_multicast="224.0.0.0 -netmask 0xf0000000 -interface ${hostname}"
route_loopback="${hostname} localhost"
defaultrouter="NO"
routedflags="-q"
namedflags="NO"
gateway=NO
gated="NO"

I must use the option "-link2" because the HUB I'd bought was for
10baseT,and the Ethercard from DEC was for 100/10BaseT.

==== /etc/networks ====
a-network   198.168.1.0
a-netmask   255.255.255

==== /etc/hosts ====
127.0.0.1       localhost.a.co.jp localhost
192.168.1.2     lisa.a.co.jp lisa
192.168.1.1     agnus.a.co.jp agnus

I tried some commands:

==== arp ====
lisa# arp -a
lisa#

=== netstat ====
lisa# netstat -rn

The LAN is full LOCAL, that means I have no gateway to connect Internet.

Please help me, is there any mistake in my config files?

Thank you very much.
