One other thing ....

I've set up my system as a PPP client following the instructions I got from
the FBSD Handbook (@ www.freebsd.org). PPP still isn't working (I've decided
to try SLIP and see if that works) but I'm now also getting an error about two
minutes after startup:

Mar 18 22:19:58 toisich routed[52]: deleting route to interface tun0 (timed
out)

The date's obvious, 'toisich' is the name of my machine
(toisich.net6e.io.org), and routed[52] is obviously the process number of
'routed' ... but what's causing the routing error to tun0? I've gone through
all the files I modified as per the PPP instructions and can't see anything I
missed or did wrong.

any ideas at all?
