Stupid question, but I just ftp'd in beta60_4 from sipb.mit.edu,
and am currently compiling it. How do I test it? So far, all I've done
is type './configure; make' and libpthreads.a is compiled, and profiling
is being compiled now

So, how do I test it, and know if it worked "out of the box" or
not? Then again...since I've never used it before, what are threads
good for?
